This form is infrastructure too.
No third-party form service stands between you and us. Open any layer and read what it does.
POST /api/contact runs on our own infrastructure and speaks SMTP straight to our own mailbox. Zero npm dependencies. Port 587 is upgraded through STARTTLS with full certificate verification, port 465 is implicit TLS.
The form sends the key you picked, ct.t1 to ct.t4. The server maps it through an allowlist of four values: General, Products, Partnership, Press. Anything else becomes General. The payload preview shows exactly that key.
Counted in memory, per IP address, in a rolling ten minute window. The sixth request is refused with 429. A hidden field sits in the form as well: bots fill it, people never see it, and whatever fills it gets a success page and no mail.
If the endpoint does not answer, the page hands you a mail to [email protected] with your topic, your name and your message already written into it. A process that died is our problem, not yours.
